Where can I find prom dresses in NYC?

I wanted to go to Cherry Hill, NJ, but it's an hour and a half away and I don't feel like driving that long. NYC is closer, and I know they have to have something out there, but I just don't know where. So, do any of you know stores in the city that sell decent prom dresses?

1. there's a huge macy's in the city it has tons and tons of dresses and they're usually very gorgeous, if you just go to the city plan to go to macy's and on the way you may come across dress stores that are small stores and no one really knows of. i would personally go with macy's its just easier =] good luckk
2. i dont no but do u have someone in the family who can make you one cause then it will be way cheaper and no one else can possibly have the same dress as you

Im not exactly sure about stores but if online shopping doesn't bother you then you should try http://www.formalxchange.com thats where I got my prom dress and i absolutely loved it i got comments on it all night. You might even find a dress that you love that is in you area! That's what I did and it worked out wonderfully.
