What kind of dresses should be worn in an evening or night party? Please help?

What kind of dresses would look good on a gal of 5'4 n little on d fat side. Specially in evening or night parties. N wat colors.

1. Dark coloured dress... something that brings in the waist like something that sweeps across the area. Probably just under knee length with a bit of sleeve. 3. Don't wear dark colours..or light colours...try bright colours: pink, purple, bright blue..orange. Not too short dress..try mid length dressed. Long sleeved dresses help the upper part of the body to look more thin. Anyway, whatever you choosen- do not forget to accessorize! Bags, bracelets, earrings, necklaces. I'm sure you'll look great whatever you wear =) and remember to have a good time.
4. you should try black coloured dresses! if you are thin built up, don't wear sleevelesses if you are short heighted, don't wear skirts rest will look good on you :)
5. in the evening party nice to look dark colored dress generally red,yellow black white like that ok
