Where can I get cute or formal dresses for cheap?

My school always has dances, except I never know what to wear so I end up looking stupid because everyone else is wearing a dress. I have never worn one before to school, but I have tried on a several in dressing rooms. Do you know where I can get formal and causual dresses for cheap at? Preferably in stores, please. Your answer is appreciated :D

2. forever21! Most of them are around $20. Look online, they have a better selection of formaly dresses than in store
3. For a one-time, not really formal, but still like cute and kinda dressy, forever 21. A little more dressy try H & M, and look around at JCPenney, Macy's, Kohl's

But they usually don't have dresses in store- so look on the website and check on what malls they have to find. www.forever21.com. 5. Try DEB shops, they have a huge selection of dresses. Sometimes JCPenney, BELK and places like Kohl's, TJ Maxx and ROSS have them as well. I definitely suggest DEB though. Look on your local classified sites sometimes girls that have graduated recently or just started college put their old formal wear up for some extra cash at great prices. Hope you find something good!
