where can i buy cute formal dresses that are not very expensive?

ok so im a Junior and my bf is a senior that means 2 proms! and prom dresses are so expensive and i have to buy two of them, plus homecoming. so where can i get them with out spending a lot? and i dont like the store deb much and please dont tell me forever21 those dresses are not formal enough. thx!

Try Kohls, Sears, JCPenny, Nordstrom, Macy's...your bound to find a dress at one of those stores :)
If youre on a tight budget, keep a look out in the paper for dresses your size. You can get a dress thats only been worn once and WAY less cash. Also, thrift shops have them and wedding shops. Your best bet would be a wedding place. They usually have a lot of dresses on site and HUGE books for you to look through and some are really cheap! Good luck.
