How can I secretly find the correct size to buy my girlfriend a night dress.? Two weeks ago when I had to move out of my shared rented apartment my girlfriend of 4 weeks parents were kind enough to allow me to board at thier place permanantly, on the understanding that I slept in the same bedroom with her four brothers and I wore nothing provocative around the house to lure thier daughter into a sexual situation with me. Knowing that I traditionaly wore boxers and a singlet to bed my girlfriend was lovely enough to buy me flannalette pyjamas to wear to bed and around the house as they satisfied her parents fully covered rules but at the same time she found it erotic to see me wearing them, eventhough I find them old fashioned and something my grandfather would wear. It is her birthday next week and I wanted to buy her something nice as a thankyou for caring for my night dress requirements. I initialy thought of a nice sexy petticoat or some underwear but decided her parents woud not appreciate it, and I also would not get to enjoy seeing her wearing them. Eventhough she still wears the old fashioned neck to ankle long sleeved white linen night dresses which I always found a turn off. But because my loved one is wearing them the old fashioned night dress suddenly really turns me on when I see her walking around the house in hers. I have decided to buy her one for her bithday and have found a shop that specialises in very conservative old style hand made night dresses. The only trouble is that I have no idea on how to find out what size my girl friend wears. I cant ask her mother as she would reject the idea and as I am not allowed to cuddle her while in our pyjamas and night dress there is no opportunity to look at the size while she is wearing one. Can any girls give me advice if this would be the right present to buy her and a way I can find out the size she wears.

My wedding dress is very heavy and hurts my back, but is it tacky to change into another dress for reception? I chose my wedding dress because I thought it was beautiful. I didn't think about the technicalities of wearing it however. I have a small frame, and this dress is big with a long train. When I had alterations done for the first time, I realized how much it hurt my lower back. My friend says to just get another dress for the reception, but I hate the thought of having paid money on this dress only to wear it for 15 minutes during the ceremony? Plus my wedding isnt going to be super glitzy or over the top and I don't want to look like I'm putting on a fashion show by changing. Is this a tacky thing to do? I need fashion advice to dress like a woman to win this bet? I have taken this bet but I need advice especially from women about how to win it! All suggestions welcome, I need to be as glamorous as I can! On halloween I won a bet by dressing up in drag for a costume party with people from work. So I need advice on how to look good and how to last the week, especially in those shoes, I managed walking around in 4 inch stilettos for one night but a whole week could be hard! My wedding night underwear.? My lovely lady and myself are geting married tommorrow which we are both extremely looking forward too. My fiance has purchased underwear which she would like to wear on her wedding day and the first night of our marriage. As she has been raised by very old age parents her likes are quite old fashioned and as such she is wearing a girdle, petticoat, stockings and a full length white linen neck to toe night dress, very elizabethian. I do not mind what she wants to wear as I love her for herself and old fashioned underwear and night wear do not worry me. My problem is that she has got my underwear and night wear that she wants me to wear on our wedding day and night. The trouble is that I have always been very light on in what I wear in the underwear and sleep wear area. The difficulty I have is that she has bought one piece long sleeve and long leg thermal Long Johns for me to wear on our wedding day and during our first night together with the old 50's style red and white striped long sleeve and long leg thick flannalette pyjamas with the old fashioned draw string on the pants to hold them up. The problem is that I have memories of my grandfather wearing these when I was a little boy and I did not think he looked attractive in them then and now I am going to be wearing the same. As the theme she has chosen for our wedding is old style with horse and cart and old fashioned suites and ties I could understand her wanting a number of old fashioned things. I did not even argue when she took myself, my best man and my groomsman to her elderly fathers barber this morning for each of us to have an extremely short back and sides haircut with the old razor sharp part on the left and soaked with hair oil. Any fashion forward people help with my early prom dress shopping? Apparently I am going to prom this year. Which I am sorta excited about but not really. This is not my thing. I need to find a dress for prom. The last time I went to an event like this I wore a black knee length dress with fishnet arms and fishnet stockings with black stilettos. I am over weight (i go to the gym and all that but the odds of losing the weight I need to to look good is not really in my favor) and pale and generally not the ideal prom person. My dress size is 10-12 depending on the dress (I have d sized breasts which is a problem with alot of dresses). I would like something that will hide my tummy and upper legs. My hair color for the night is undetermined so that is not a factor (its currently pink but will change according to the dress for that evening). I am kinda "punky/gothy/emoish" looking. If anyone has an idea or links I would really appreciate it. The color Id like most is black or a mostly black dress but I am open to all suggestions. Not crazy expensive is a bonus. need a semi formal dress for 8th grade promotion dance? I am in 8th grade and we are having a promotion dance just 4 8th graders. The theme is supposed to be like a night club and girls are supposed to wear semi formal dresses. I need a lot of help trying to find a dress, but it can not be too expensive. I am not willing to pay more than 30 dollars for it and it can not be too short. The dress should preferably be a little above the knees. I do not want any strapless dresses either because I will be dancing the whole night. My fashion sense is pretty girly and i like all bright colors. Some colors I like are orange, red, yellow, white, pink, lavendar, emerald green, and turquouse. I do not want any black dresses and am a size XS in juniors. Do you think a cathedral veil would look good with this dress? My dress is at the seamstress until my wedding so I cannot try it on and check. My 14 year old son is a crossdresser/transvestite and had me arrested for trying to change him.? My 14 year old son came in the other night dressed as a female with make-up, a wig, a mini-skirt, in full womens dress. I am a very old fashioned, traditional person. When he came in I shouted "what the hell do you think you are doing?" and he said it was girls night out at the club(has ID. Can you give fashion advice to help me win this bet? I need some style advice to help win a bet! I was joking with some female colleagues at work who were complaining about how women have it tough because they are expected to wear uncomfortable clothes like tight dresses and high heels to look good. I said that they should stop moaning and it got out of hand... so I ended up taking a big bet. They all bet me that I couldn't handle wearing women's clothes for a night. So I have to go out for dinner with them one night dressed as a woman. My boss heard and she said I should have to dress like a woman that day for work as well. I said I would do it because it was a big bet and I am always up for a good laugh, but I need help to get it right! The rules of the bet are that I have to look totally realistic and every single item I wear must be women's, and I have to stay in costume until the very end of the night.
