They're gonna roll out a "red carpet" and have "paparazzi" and their gonna interview us before the show, where cameras will be backstage for the audience to see. Spring pictures for your kids....formal or casual? Do you always have your kids dress up for pictures, or do you keep it more casual? I like to dress them up for Christmas pictures but normally keep it somewhat casual for everything else. What should little kids wear for formal wear? Okay so I end up going to a lot of military things with my husband and it's kind of normal to bring your kids along. I have 3 sons and when they were babies it was always romper suits, then sailor suits and I am kind of wondering what do you do when they're like age ten. I hate my formal dress!? My year 10 formal is on the 3rd of december. Being in a small town there is only one shop that sells formal dresses and the lady who runs the shop writes down which school each dress style is sold to so no-one from the same school has the same dress (colours dont matter, only style). But she only orders in about 20 different styles. There are 120-180 kids in my year 10! Say half of them are girls thats 60-70 girls and only 20 dress styles! Unfortunately everyone else seems to have gone in two months in advance and bought their dresses so by the time dad managed to take me in there was only a few dress styles left (basically the ugly ones that no-one else wanted) so i had to pick from those and dad said 'we'll go to canberra and have a look, get one as a backup' So I did. There were NO dress shops in the city apart from two boutiques but they are over $150 for a cocktail dress! So now I am stuck with the dress from here that i HATE. It looks so bad on me! And the formal is supposed to be the one night where the girls can all feel beautiful in their formal dresses and shoes. I love my shoes btw. But how can I possibly feel beautiful in a dress I hate!? I want to have a look in nearby towns but dad doesn't understand how important this is for me (my mother passed away when i was in year 6) I know people are going to tell me that if I feel confident I will look good but im not the sort of person who can just fake confidence. My self-esteem is really low and im going to be surrounded at the formal by people who hate me and only want to judge me. I really need help or suggestions here. My wife's friend makes her kids wear a dress shirt, dress pants, dress shoes and socks around the house? My wife has a friend from church that makes her kids get dress in a dress shirt, pants, shoes and socks everyday. Even if they are just hanging out around the house. They do have play clothes, but they must shower and change when they are done. When they go out they have to wear a tie and sometimes even a blazer. I have never seen this in my life. Is she the only one that does this or what? I see kids dressed up in public. I always thought it was because they had or were going to church or some other formal event. Why do CAlifornia young cholo kids, dress baggy and lose and parents don't educate them? why do the parents not make them wear normal formal presentable clothese, since they are going to school. ? Finding a semi-formal dress? I have issues with finding dresses that fit me "right." I'm 15 and am going to be a sophomore. For homecoming I want to find a dress that fits me right in the chest. I wear a 34A bra, and I'm not very chesty at all. I always have to find dresses in the little kid sections. I really want to find a homecoming dress that is somewhat grown up, and one that will fit me well. Is there any online stores that specialize in this kind of this stuff? Or any store at all.

On the Tyra show, did anyone see the "Kids on Race" episode where they were shown pictures...? of people of different races and asked questions about them? I noticed that the woman showed a picture of a white woman and a black woman and asked which one was the "princess". All the kids said that the white woman was the princess but she was dressed in a formal dress with her hair up like she was going to prom and her picture was taken in a studio. The picture of the black woman was taken outdoors, she was wearing a collar shirt that was sort of business casual and she was barely smiling, almost like she was squinting from the sun. Another set of people they showed was of two older gentlemen and asked who would be president. The kids said the white man but the white man was wearing a dark suit and tie and the black man was wearing a sport coat, no tie and the top button of his shirt was open. I am considered a junior handler (under 18) but a breeder reccommended I go to open class dog shows (for adults and kids) because Junior Handlers can be nasty brats. I really want to know if I am allowed to wear formal/suit pants, or if girls are strictly limited to wearing skirts/dresses? EXPERIENCED Dog handlers only please. :/

Ideas for naming a baby/kids brand of clothing more elegant dress wear? starting a kids/baby brand need some ideas what to call it, its more formal wear so need something more of a elegant name but still kid orientated.

What is appropriate clothing for this situation? I am going to a wedding where the dress is semi-formal, as stated on the invitation. It is in another state and all family are going so I have no one to watch my 2 boys so they are coming with. There will be a nanny at the country club where both ceremony and reception are. The nanny will watch the boys during the ceremony and during dinner, but the kids will come to the reception after dinner is done. Normally semi-formal would be a suit and tie, but that does that hold true for kids as well? They are 7 1/2 and 5 years old. I hate to have to buy them suits to wear for a couple of hours only, but don't want to break any rules or anything. They don't have a suit so I would have to buy them one just for this occasion. Are kids held to the same dress code as adults? I wouldn't dress them in jeans or anything-maybe just some slacks and nice shirt. Or do they have to have strictly adhere to the dress code and wear suits?

Is this proper attire for a semi-formal homecoming dance? what are you supposed to do at prom? k so I'm debating whether to go to prom or not because i mean what do you do there? I can't imagine a lot of people would be "grinding" in their formal dresses, also I heard kids go for like 20 minutes and then leave so it seems like just a waste! On the Tyra show, did anyone see the "Kids on Race" episode where they were shown pictures...? of people of different races and asked questions about them? I noticed that the woman showed a picture of a white woman and a black woman and asked which one was the "princess". All the kids said that the white woman was the princess but she was dressed in a formal dress with her hair up like she was going to prom and her picture was taken in a studio. The picture of the black woman was taken outdoors, she was wearing a collar shirt that was sort of business casual and she was barely smiling, almost like she was squinting from the sun. Another set of people they showed was of two older gentlemen and asked who would be president. The kids said the white man but the white man was wearing a dark suit and tie and the black man was wearing a sport coat, no tie and the top button of his shirt was open. Do you think this had anything to do with their answers? I thought this was an interesting show but I thought the appearance of the people in the pictures should have been equal.

Should 7th grade girls cover up their breasts during a formal? My son who is 12 years old in the 7th grade had a formal last week. The kids were partnered up by random. My son (who has not hit puberty yet) was partnered up with a much developed girl. So anyway the girl who my son partnered up with was wearing a very revealing outfit. I was talking to her parents about the outfit and they told me she was wearing a push up bra. I was outraged seeing she was only 12.
